These are fantastic needles to have for working on any sewing kit ! They work well with ordinary sewing of light and medium materials.

"LONG" - "SHARP" type - These versatile needles are the most used for hand sewing. Their eye is round, their tip pointed and their length average. They exist in different sizes (from 1 to 12).

To know the size of a needle, look at the number indicated. The higher this number, the smaller and thinner the needle and the more suitable it will be for fine fabrics.
To give you a point of reference, I sew my small Moppet dolls every day and mostly use No8 or No7 needles.
